How to Calculate Keyword Density
Keyword density is simply the number of times a keyword appears on a page compared to the total word count on the page.
Page Authority Takes Into Account Backlinks and Organic Traffic
Page authority takes into account the quality and quantity of backlinks on the page as well as how much organic traffic the page generates.
Tools Can Help Analyze Copy and Keyword Density and Improve Text Relevancy
You can look at keyword densities to help give an idea of text relevance, but there are web tools, such as Conductor and SerpStat can help you analyze and better create content that has stronger text relevancy.
Images and Videos, Along with Metadata Can Improve Text Relevance
When thinking about the components of a page, for page relevance, you should not only think about the visible text but also any images and or videos, along with any metadata, including alt tags for images. These things all help improve page relevance.
In summary, the goal that Google and other search engines have is that the sites that provide the best and most relevant content for a given search term are the ones, that over the long term, should rank highest and be easily found.
