Welcome back to my wellness series. I’m Cathi Marcus certified life and career coach, specializing in mindset and personal transformation, for your success.
So, this morning I wanted to talk about gratitude. The power of gratitude. But I remember when I was first introduced to the idea of gratitude, I was probably in the least grateful state that I could ever been in. I was just so stressed out and overwhelmed and unfulfilled, and unhappy, and so I would actually get irritated by the word gratitude when I heard it originally, but I would never arrive in that space. But, what I can tell you is that with certain supports and guidance and practice and awareness, and perspective, gratitude is absolutely something that can be cultivated and it is just so, so important because it is a transmission of energy that’s coming from your heart and something that is broadcasting to everyone and everything around you and resonates with more of the people, places and things, that you want to be connected to. And conversely so, when we are shut down and we are isolated, and we are constricted, we tend to just connect with people, places, and things that we don’t want to be connected to. So, it really is about the laws of the universe, energy, and if you are interested in knowing more about that feel free to reach out to me. But just for today, my suggestion would be start a little gratitude practice where you create a jar, maybe at your desk at work and each day you write down three things that you are grateful for. Every day there needs to be three new things. It does not have to be anything crazy – it could be you are grateful for air conditioning; it could be your grateful for a good night’s sleep, but every day three new things, and just start to notice how this retraining of your brain affects your inner condition. Hope to see you guys again soon at the next wellness series and have a wonderful day.
